1966 Airstream Land Yacht
Here is your chance to live the “Airstream Dream”. This 1966 Land Yacht is in excellent vintage condition. It is a great size for camping, full-time living, Airbnb, guest house, or home office. This is a great time to hit the road in your own private “house on wheels”. Enjoy the summer camping and traveling in style.
The exterior has been polished and looks great. Hundreds of hours have gone into this mirror finish. It looks AMAZING! It has new tires. Axles are good. We had a new wiring harness installed. The exterior lights all work. It has two propane tanks. The frame is solid. This Airstream has been in Nevada/Utah—in a very dry climate—very minimal rust. The underbelly pan in all in tact and in great condition. Has trailer brakes.
The interior is mostly original with a few updates. New floor, professionally upholstered cushions, new curtains and fun vintage décor. This Airstream will sleep 4 people. There are two couches that pull-out to sleep 2 people each. Lots of storage with original bins on the shelves. The interior lights and electrical outlets work. It has a bathroom at the back with a toilet, bathtub and shower. There are several storage closets and cabinets.
This Airstream could be used today and taken on the road, but it still needs some work to finish it off. The water system and propane system will need some work. It looks like all of the parts are there. We took it to the trailer repair shop and they were booked for months. We have not been able to find a handyman to work on this sweet Airstream. My husband has had a man cold twice in the last month and hasn’t been able to work on it. 😊 We have fixed up what we can and are passing it on to its new owner! You will love it. Some normal wear for something that is 50+ years old. Most of the décor is included, but we will keep a few things due to sentimental reasons–the vintage Pendleton is near and dear to my heart.
