Question from Lisa:
I’m enjoying your new site. Thanks for all the great info. I’m at the point where I’m looking for white walls and baby moons for the original rims. Did you buy your baby moons and white wall tires for buttercup? If you don’t mind sharing, do you know where I could find them to fit? Since the original rims have 4 bolts, I’m finding it hard to find hub caps to match.

Hi Lisa,
The shop that where I had work done on my trailer put those hub caps on so I’m not sure of the source. However, if you do a search on Google for baby moon hubcaps quite a few pages come up that offer them for sale. I believe I may have a set of baby moons that I was planning on listing for sale. If interested, let me know what size you need and I’ll see if these would work and can send you a price.
As far as the white wall tires go, mine actually aren’t white walls at all but I’m happy that you mistook them for white walls (: When I had the trailer painted I asked them to paint my tire rims white to give it the appearance of white walls. If you look closely at this picture you will see the white area is the painted tire rim.

Kellle,
I think I might be able to help. We purchased out white walls @ Coker Tires & our Baby Moons & beauty rings @ JC Whitney.
Hope this helps!
If you contact Coker (or wherever you get your whitewalls) make certain they know that the tires will be used on a trailer. It’s critical for your safety, (and the safety of those on the road with you) to get the correct tire. Regular whitewalls do not have the stability to take your trailer safely down the road, they’re normally car tires and have the flex for a car, not for the weight of a trailer. Kelle here has the right idea with the beauty rings!
