~ ~ THIS TRAILER IS NOW SOLD ~ ~
This is a very rare vintage camper that is in very nice condition. The Bravo was manufactured by Hobo Manufacturing Company. It is hard to find information about the Bravo. The layout and exterior design is very similar to the Shasta campers of the same era. Camper has been stored indoors when not in use. We have owned the Bravo since 1998. We have a clean Wisconsin title. We purchased it from another family member. 16 feet overall length including the hitch, 13 feet not counting hitch. We only used only a couple times in the past 15 years. It has been stored inside for both winter and summer since we’ve owned it.
Highlights about the Bravo:
- Original equipment refrigerator – works very well on either propane or when camper is plugged into AC. We tested the refrigerator this Spring and both gas and electric work. Temperature in fridge got as low as 32 degrees on the coldest setting with outside temperatures in the 70’s.
- Three burner stove, all burners work well.
- Lights that work on 120V AC
- Separate lights that work on 12V system
- Awning in excellent condition, easy to setup.
- Propane furnace, not tested. (We never used it)
- Couch at the back converts to a double bed
- Dining table seats four and converts to a bed.
- Upper bunk at the back. Upper bunk can be raised to out of the way position to allow significant headroom for the back couch/bed.
- Sink with water tank. Sink pump not tested.
- Two 20 pound propane tanks, one about three quarter full
- Excellent storage capacity including upper cabinets over counter. Below counter storage. Four drawers, nice size closet, back storage compartment accessed from outside or inside.
- All original interior/exterior and in very good condition for a 1971 camper
- No water damage or leaking
- Stored inside since we purchased it. We have only used it for storage the last 15 years while stored inside.
- Windows all open with crank handles. There are three that need a light push from the outside to close tightly. The others all close well using the crank.
- Tested brake lights, directional lights and also most of the upper edge running lights work.
- Tires in good condition, tread excellent, quality tires. But they are probably 20 years old.
- Known issues. 1 missing knob on the stove, dining table has had one corner repaired, some paint faded or come off the aluminum shell, most windows crank out and in well but a few need a push from outside to lock in tight, rust on door hinge but works fine, some stains that indicate some leaks at some point but nothing lasting or structural, one of the year lights was replaced at some point, some minor shell dents, other normal wear and tear that would be expected for a 1971 camper.
