This 1966 Kit Companion required a complete overhaul. We’ve rebuilt the entire interior from scratch and love the way it turned out. We wanted this tiny home on wheels to feel big enough to accommodate full time living. It’s packed with storage, functionality, comfort and style. The space is intended to be used for fun weekend getaways AND as a means to expand living space at your home – guest suite, teen hangout, she shed, man cave, home office – you name it!

EXTERIOR:

SYSTEMS:
– Replaced 60+ year old water and electric with new, simpler and more efficient options
– Marine foot pump generates solid water pressure, supports 2x 5 gal jugs, 1 for fresh and one for grey water
– Brand new Jackery 1000 battery which powers LED lighting through-out and provides 5 120V plug-ins and 3 USB charging ports
– The Jackery 1000 battery is chargeable via shore power OR via portable solar panels (solar panels not included)
– Lighting includes 2x multi-colored LED lights over the bed, operated via remote control + 4x dimmable LED ceiling puck lights over kitchen and entry, with light switch + 1x dimmable LED pendant over the table, with light switch
– For a stovetop, we recommend a butane/propane portable burner, plenty of storage and counter space to accommodate (stovetop not included)
– For refrigeration, we’ve built a drawer under the bed to hold up to 250 lbs with easy access to plug into the battery with 120V power cord (fridge not included)
INTERIOR:
– Original windows, door and roof vent, everything else has been completely customized and rebuilt
– Brand new engineered wood floors, scratch and water resistant
– Mudroom/Entry features a locker and bench seat with overhead storage and hooks for storage
– Bedroom includes a custom 42″ x 82″ memory foam mattress (6″ width), assembled in 3 pieces for easy access to the storage on either end of the bed, custom mattress protectors
– Bedroom storage includes 2x large, heavy duty drawers under bed and 2x large storage compartments at either end
– Kitchen includes laminate Ikea concrete countertops, custom finished wood sink with sleek black faucet, tile backsplash
– Kitchen storage includes large cabinet under sink with easy water refill and disposal door, 3x overhead cabinets, 3x large soft close drawers
– Front lounge features unique u-shaped couch with beautiful custom upholstery using top of the line, stain resistant fabric
– Dinette area includes 3x large storage compartments under the benches and a stained & adjustable swivel table that collapses into an additional sleeping area for 2 guests
