1972 Roadrunner For Sale

1972 Roadrunner “Roscoe” For Sale

Roscoe is a true vintage gem – charming, functional, and full of
personality. Roscoe is ready for adventure today, or you can continue
the gentle restoration journey we started. We’ve lovingly taken care of
this trailer but we are downsizing and it’s time to pass it off to
someone else who will appreciate him. Details below and we’re happy to
do a video walk-through if you’d like.

THE GOOD STUFF:
– Original appliances (fridge, oven, stovetop, sink, heater) in vintage
yellow and still going strong.
– Sleeps 4-5 comfortably with (1) a super comfortable rear gaucho couch
that pulls out into a queen-size bed, (2) a dinette that converts into a
comfy full-size bed, and (3) an optional upper bunk with twin XL pad.
– Tons of storage. Enough for a full week of camping gear, clothing,
games, cookware, and toys for five people.
– New tires (less than 100 miles), plus a spare in the trunk.
– Recent upgrades and maintenance:
— Fully updated electrical, including electric brakes, done by an
RV company in 2022
— Reinforced frame under the rear bed
— Resealed and waterproof (no leaks)
— Aesthetic updates throughout two-thirds of the interior
– Extras included: leveling jacks, chocks, and a matching overhead
cabinet/bed we never reinstalled.
– Handwritten masking tape notes from the original owner still dot the
interior – a charming connection to Roscoe’s past.

THE QUIRKS (aka Vintage Trailer Life):
– Roscoe had a past leak near the front. We resealed it, and it’s stayed
dry ever since. We’ve also kept it tarped in winter and ran a
dehumidifier nonstop during the off-season.
– Cosmetic dent on the top rear passenger side from a previous owner. No
leaks, just visual.
– The hand pump for water pressure is currently broken, but the tank
held enough pressure for three days of dish and handwashing for our
family of 4.
– A few interior panels have been replaced over the years. Most are
painted, but original oak paneling still exists in areas. No visible rot
under the panels we replaced.

BASIC DETAILS
– Measurements are approximately 19’ x 7’10” (including hitch)
– Dry weight approximately 3,000-3,500lbs
– Clean title. Oregon registration good through 2025.
– No bathroom, but you could convert the closet to a bathroom with a
portable toilet.
